Should You Kiss on the First Date?

Your date has come to an end. You are ready to part ways. Do you kiss goodbye or not?

Start with a hug. This seems to be accepted better than a kiss. If you both feel the same way about each other, your lips will find each other.

Don't feel pressured to hug or kiss if you don't have feelings for your date. If you send the wrong message, you may end up with your date thinking there is more to come when you are done. You don't want your phone ringing off the hook because you kissed when you should have shook hands.

Let attraction be your guide. If it's there, it's there. If it's not, it's not.

If you do decide to kiss, make sure your lips are moist. No one likes a dry kiss.

Try not to drool. Having a nice, moist kiss is good. Thinking you are kissing the St. Bernard is not. No one wants to wipe off after a kiss.

Your first kiss should be with your lips closed. If things progress, that's fine but don't try to stick your tongue down your dates throat. This is very presumptuous and a big turn off.

So... If it feels good, then do it.
